David May returns as guest when Michael and Noel jump back to MGM for the third movie in the Johnny Weissmuller series: Tarzan's Return. Or was it Tarzan and the Vampires? No, wait, The Capture of Tarzan. Oh, that's right: Tarzan Escapes! Featuring studio meddling, killer iguanas, the Hayes Code, and what happens when you let the monkey cook the roast.
This could have been so much better. Unfortunately, the broadening of Weissmuller's loincloth and a full dress for Jane dull it down from the beginning. Then with the constant seesawing of the script (Jane's cousin with the not so subtle hots for Tarzan in the original script would have been a thing to see) and the other changes derail the movie further.
